I used to blog quite frequently. According to the Wayback Machine, 2006 was a particularly busy year for blogging. I tried revisiting all the blogs I had ‘blogrolled’ at that time. It’s disheartening to see how many of those blogs have disappeared, often without a word of farewell, especially when you realize the reason was that the owner passed away.

But I’m still here, and for years I’ve said that if only I had the time, I would write much more, including here. Well, that time has come for me as I’ve finally retired and am happy. I have now set a stretch goal of posting at least one thing — text, photo, whatever — every single day. We shall see how that goes.
