John Bulmer is around the same age as Joel Meyerowitz, and like the American, he is inspired by Cartier-Bresson et cetera — but also started working in color early on. Bulmer’s richly saturated but at the same time subdued color palette perfectly fits his locations and the mood he is trying to catch.
