Art Garfunkel famously keeps track of the books he has read since 1968. As of writing this, the count is 1327 (he does not add a review). I thought I could do something similar but I am adding short reviews of books as I read them, and I rake my brain over what I read over the last decades. This is, evidently, a work-in-progress: there are 649 reviews so far. Titles marked with a * are particular favorites.

Elmore Leonard: Get Shorty

As always, a fast and giggly fun read, driven by a plot that propels everything towards the inevitable, and yet manages to surprise. And it is in some weird way a metastory: making a movie based on real events, that later actually is made into a movie. Recommended strongly to be picked up when it is raining and you have some hours to pass and would not mind some faultless entertainment.
